I enjoy writing, drumming, and gaming. Currently, I maintain a blog about economics in general but paying special attention to what’s going on in Brazil. Drumming-wise, I am mostly self-taught and my favorite songs to play are the pop-punk ones I grew up listening to. When it comes to gaming, I tend to gravitate towards either too-fast or too-slow Metroidvania titles. I am a decent Mario Kart player and I definitely peaked in CS:GO.
I received a Ph.D. in economics from NYU in 2024. I dedicated a good chunk of my thesis to studying uncertainty around point forecasts.
